The Boarding House Bistro is a hidden gem. What a fun find. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

Everything here is great. The drinks, the charcuterie, the flat breads, the atmosphere, everything. But here are my favorites: The lemon drop Every once in awhile he will put mimosas on special and they’re excellent The prosciutto The lemon blueberry cheese on the boarded goat is the most unique delicious cheese you will encounter The 4 alarm cheddars The twisted pig Go here, you will not be disappointed. It’s amazing and there’s nothing else like it.

The best charcuterie ever!! Ordered the 4x4. Four cheese/four meats. $1 extra for sour cherry jam and $1 extra for grilled bread. Our platter only came with crackers without an option to substitute. Condiments were also not included on our board. I always need honey or jam to cut the saltiness. The cheese was fresh and flavorful with a very good variety. The flavored goat cheeses are my #1 recommendation. I think the one we chose was honey walnut? The place is small with 4 high-top tables just inside the entrance and a 4 seat bar area that seemed cramped even before our food came. They served cucumber flavored water which was a nice touch. Im planning on driving over from St Charles again shortly with my family just for their amazing cheese! Can not find this experience in St Louis!

My favorite place in the area. Comfortable seating, amazing menu, delicious food, gorgeous cocktails, friendly service, and chill atmosphere. Carryout boards are a big hit, too. Just an all-around class act. You won't be disappointed.

Such a cute spot for a date night -- delicious drinks and charcuterie boards. Also happy to accommodate vegetarian requests w the nicest employees. The bbq chipotle pistachios are a must try! Highly recommend stopping in for a date night! Update - went back - just as great!

Love the food! Getting to customize a charcuterie was unique. Great vibe. It was a bit confusing finding the entrance as there is a bar and a bistro. Will be going back.

We had the absolute best experience hosting our Little Black Book: Women in Business Quarterly Mix & Mingle at Boarding House Bistro in downtown O’Fallon. They generously welcomed us for a private event supporting a local nonprofit, and it turned out to be one of our most successful and well-loved gatherings. Julie and Kaylee were incredible from start to finish… helping us set up, checking in on us throughout the night, and making sure everything ran smoothly. The food and drinks were delicious, and Chrissy, the owner, is so gracious and welcoming. Boarding House Bistro truly knows how to create a warm, inviting space for meaningful connection. We’re so grateful for their support.

The food was amazing. I got try what I would consider exotic cheeses that I never knew existed before. Highly recommend the flat bread.

Lovely old-town charm and ambience, delicious food (the turkey avocado sandwich is AMAZING as was the charcuterie!), and very friendly and helpful service. We will be back! The Merlot Bellavitano and Brie with honey, pecans, and cranberries were our favorites! The Coppa was too floral-tasting for us, but it is apparently popular as well. :)
